Dreams And Aspirations 


Well I was jus checking a site given to me on pics camers etc.And thers is this one section where guys submit pics for rating comments and stuff .Was checking it out and came across this picture of a kitten ,The guy who took this pic said it was taken in a pet shop .the little thing waiting for someone to come by and take her out and remove her from the cage reminds you of that song Oh What A Wonderfull Wrold.
The image of the outside world in the eyes of the kitten are like dreams .Jus makes you think what dreams we have what are our aspirations how many of us are like this kitten, Cant follow our dreams, cant fullfill our aspirations because of our cages, all of us are in somekind of a cage be it the cage of society ,conscience ,family , friends etc. etc. .They hold us back and dont let us follow our real dreams .Ahhaaa the dreams in our eyes and the cages that hold us back .This picture really moved me a lot .What if the bars were not there what if this kitten was in its dream which is in its eyes right now and living it what then what next ,would it have stopped dreaming would it have stopped at that .would it be happy .So many things to think about . As they say a picture speaks a thousand words .And this one jus told a whole story : ).

Found the Manual For the FX2

Hmmm went and got my camera checked out from solo ,as suspected its a old SLR lot of thinngs can be done with it .Evrything is manual so the frist think i neede to do was source a manualk for it .I remember some of the controls from way back with the apperture setting and all but i dont think i ever touched the shutter speed knob.
Nyhow mailed Bijesh my photographer friend and he replied to me along with this info :Most of
the cameras in that era were simple to operate and didn't require a big manual like the current digital ones need. You just need to know the

So now i have the manual too.Hmmmm time I got down took some pics and find out if it works properly or not.
Well solo dude left for cochin Around 9 in the night on suryas bike hes one mad bummmm.Also bharani came and droped his RD350 at my place wanted to come along on my bike .LOL the Mileage problem has finally caught up with him :).Hmmm maybe ill exchange bikes with him for some time and see .Checked out the superbike but it was a 600 and not a 1200 as somebody told me .Will go again in the evening and take a test ride and see.

Photography and Desires!!!!!!!!!!

Well guess what i finally found my dads old Yashica FX-2 manual camera.I have to work on my photography thing I remember I really wanted to do a lot with cameras and dad had even arranged a chat with the local photographer who would give me some gyan on the FX2 that wus way back in the 9th grade its another thing we got posted out and the whole thing just died in me .It wus rekindled by my journey to pondicherry recently where i actually sat and thought about pics and tried to fit my mental images onto the real world .I really wanted to do this .
Hmmmmmm so finally found the old war horse from some dusty corner have to get it serviced I hope I still can use it .Guess will go to my pal solo and show it to him .Also am on the way to check out the Ninja ZX12R with solo for a pal of mine .Its my dream to own a harley or a superbike at some point in life ahhhaaa what will be life if we dont have dreams and desires hmmmmmmm ask a MONK ;) .

Insanity On the Road !!!!!!!!!!

Insane Traffic In Chennai (Only way to survive is to be insane )  

Damnnnnnnn chennai traffic sucks big time brothers (just to let those weak in geography know that chennai is in A state called Tamil Nadu In INDIA south east asia )
Anyhow i have had a lot of incidents and accidents here .The latest incident happened today I wus riding to work and was trailing this huge bus which was fish tailing all over the lil road .hmmmmm thought better to overtake it and be safe .SO in front of the university crazy snake bus driver slows down to a crawl .i move to the side there is this cycle walla going in the corner thers almost 6 feet of space between him and the bus also hes going in a straight line doesnt look like some of those cyclists who rather then going straight keep making figure of S on the road .SO im like about time to overtake from fourth gear cut down to 3rd give 2 honks on the horn to let the cycle fellow know im coming thru .Hahahahahah now the fun starts as soon as i near the cycle guy he decides to chuck the straight line and starts the figure S routine im like FUCK U maniacccc in my mind .I let go of the accelerater the engine roars as i cut gear again to brake .Slam the rear brakes thers a screeeeecchhhhhhh and im full out into a skid now hmmmm pump the front brakes .Thers a collective gasp from the bus riding fellows i could hear it through my helmet they gooooo ohhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!! at one point of time im in between the bus and the cycle fellow but then i fall back and the cyclist after 1 minute of insanity comes back to ground zero and goes on the straight line again .I look at him and the expression on his face is amazing not a care in the world nothing he looks at me as if nothing has happened and im like grrrrrrrrrrrrr ahhhaaaaa .Insanity is Bliss people dont even know what they are doing and how it might affect others .To guys like these i have only this to say u want to die go die man but not under my wheels itll spoil the paint job ;) And ill be in JAIL .Check out the pic of typical chennai traffic ull know how the thing goes .

Fight Club and Vague Thoughts!!!!!!

Saw Fight Club some time back .It wus lying dumped on my hard disk for quite some time now .As im not a movie person (had jus seen 4 movies in theatres last year) .didnt look at at thought another mindless movie about some fight (reminded me of street fighter ) .Its not that I beleive in non violence Gandhi will only shrug if i tell him about how I am to hell with turning the other cheek bloody give more then what u get brothers .If you get slapped break some bones in return .But I dont like the violence in movies as they say its mindless doesnt serve any purpose ,if u fight for real u learn something it maybe big or it maybe small.Either u kick ass or you get ur ass kicked .But both ways you learn ,when u get into a fight u know what the consequences are gonna be and you are ok with it maybe u were wrong or maybe the other guys wus wrong but when u start finish it.Either u make a stand and fight or u just follow what stronger ppl tell u .
Anyhow talking about Fight Club one fine night was so bored that double clicked on the movie icon hmmmm wus quite surprised about the whole thing .Really liked the movie .some part of the movie reminded me of this phrase I had read in Richard Bachs book "A Bridge Across Forever" dont remember what it exactly said but its something like:::::: what if somebody wants you do something and offers hundred kooligans for it now to you kooligans dont mean anything so you wont do it but what if he offers you something that does mean something to you now that changes everything doesnt it .So when people dont get other people who dont care bout the usual things like money fame girls etc etc .They have to go back to the kooligan theory to these guys all the above things jus mean kooligans but when u talk in their language and offer them what they want or need they will appear just like all of us .Hmmmmm .If you are not getting what im writing here well id refer you to the kooligan theory .Also if u get to watch fight club do see it i dont know how many of you will see it the way I SAW IT .

It wus a hell of ride as musafir(yamaha RX-100) had an alighnment problem .The difference was almost 5 inches how freya managed to do 4000 odd kms on it defies understanding :) .As they say u never know if something can be done unless you go ahead and do it .
Talking about bikes and rides I love to travell and if i can do it on my bike (Enfeild 350) even more better. My rides are more about the places and the people and the things i see im not the kind of person who will remeber how many kms from where is what turn but ill remember the sites sounds people the things i see and the places themselves but have started to make an effort to rember them now as can help out a fellow traveller ,one of these days ill write one of my stories here it will take a huge effort but im up for .I like this whole blog thing :) .

Leasons Learnt In a Police Station

Well!!! welll !!!! My First almost DUI(Driving Under The Influence )section 187 of the motor vechles act or wus it 185, i will have to check the Police notice for that .
Well the story goes like this had some( and mind you it was only some) on saturday night and popped a couple of mentos in my mouth and thought wus ready to go .I take the bend from the beach and find 5 or 6 cops stopping cars im like shit what luck nyhow .The Cop talked to me once and said ahhhhaaaa we have a prospective "bakra here" .The smile on his face could only have been matched by the one given to him on the news of his first born.There were four more bakras there ready for slaughter .Pathetic creatures no spine in them .
As the story goes wus taken to some shady hospital in saidapet where some doc gave me a certificate With the option "Had consumed alcohol and wus not found under the influence " no breath test no blood test nothing ,maybe the doc was so proffesional that he has tuned his sniffing sense to just sniff out the percentage of alcohol in the bakras blood :).
nyhow after all this the cops took us back to the crime scene and gave each ofus a police notice with somehting scribbbled on it (the hand writting wus so bad that i was surprised how the hell he managed to clear his 10th leave alone becoming a cop lol) .Me and the cop went on a joy ride in my car were we took two chakkers of the beach the bloody cop enjoying each bit of it .I tried the saaaarrrr please saarrrrrrr therapy to which the Crisp response came "No No this money is not for me I have done full karwai now itll be the courts that will settle " I wodered then why is he not leting me go hmmmmmm .Started to think how much money ill have to give .Did a mental calculation results ====== 80 Rs Indian , 100 Rs bangladeshi .thats all i had in my pocket hmmmmm a tough bargaining will be needed here .
After the joy ride we landed at the police station.The other bakras were going full out , hmmm "kasai kabhi bakre par taras nahi karta " roughly translates into A buttcher never has any pity on the lamb .Nyhow i waited for all the guys to finish as i had the least to offer .The guys paid 1500 each and went home (the net gain for the cop wus almost 6 grand in one night or wus it for the courts heheheh).
It wus preety late now alomost 2 AM in the night called some friends asked them what to do they said man pay something as nothing can be done but something for me wus nothing for them ;) ,Nyhow told the cops my situation so the tech savy cop says go to ATM hahahahah man that was a good one ,unluckly for him i dont have ATM card .so that idea didnt help .After a lot of yapping i stated to get pissed .Finally the guy told me to talk to the SI.
The SI wus in deep slumber oblivious of the prblm this bakra wus facing .SO woke him up .he woke up like a kumbakaran glared at me and said "whattttttt uuu stillll ere give money kno for court"Also he said the actual fine is 2000 if i pay here they will let me off for 1500 hahahahah the friendly neighbourhood cop was giving me a discount of 500 bucks maybe it was happy hours, nyhow i said fuck it time to get a lil tough as the soft approach failed tottaly so it wus either nothing or 1500 .So started by asking hey Mr COP what section are u charging me under :reply Section 187 of motor veh act .
Me: Its not written on the police notice you gave me
Cop: rubbing one eye :What !
Me :the doc certificate u gave me says i wus not found under the influence the how can i be charged for DUI ?????
COP:That we do for evrybody (i wanted to laugh but didnt gud for me :) )
Me :You didnt Take any breath test or blood sample.
Cop: standing up NO need for that .hahahah (remeberd my theory of the proffesional doc )
ME: even if u do the test there is something called permissible limits also you cant do anything now.Hmmm it wus advantage me kept the assault going.
Me :I started reading my rights written on the back of the Police Notice
" cops cant keep the car unless there is possiblity its a stolen vechile or somethinf ,only xerox copies of papers have to be shown to the cops originals only to Court "
COP: For u its a criminal case so we will keep car.
Me : what criminal case ???
Cop Scratching Head what ??????
Me : saaarrr u know what the whole thing is i know what the whole thing is ,also i dont have any money so just leave it.
Cop:Whatttt you are not letting me sleep !!!!HAHAHAHAHA he wus a funny SI
Me: give me the key an u sleep .
Cop: what yaar come .

Calls one sipahi notes down my address and say come on monday and give money .I smile at him an say i dont have any money be it monday tuesday or sunday .Hmmmm cop scratches his head one more time and gives me the keys .While going out he almost pleads
"so when are you coming "
Me : dont know maybe ill come on TV " loved the parting shot .cop wus stunned .

I go out where the junior sipahi says give something kno i said u want 100 bangaldeshi rupees he politely refused :) .went home and slept oh yeah almost forgot i got a souvenier from the Cop hole too .


LESSONS LEARNT
1. donot drink and drive.
2.DO NOT DRINK and DRIVE.

3. know your rights.
4. make a stand dont be a spineless bumm.
5.Keep finger crossed and bribe the gods by promising a coconut to the local deity :)

Wellll im still getting the hang of this thing

hmmmmm Technology .People have thought of so many things to make our life easier that it actually ends up makint it more complex .click this click that add picture remove this add a shade here remove a shade there lol man lets go back to the simple pen and paper business.
Talking of pen and paper how many of you guys have tried reading E-books ????? well i have and i think its a pathetic attempt .I still want to get that feel of a book in my hands .Leave it when ever where ever i want to and just pick it up again ,toss it here toss it there (i know im not that careful with books ) but i do read .Nyhow i think all things have there pros and cons But for me all of that can go down the drain .........im for pen and paper :).
Im still figuring this whole blog thing out till then ciaoooo

hmmmm why im here at this blogging site ,i dont even know what blogging means only that rhymes with clogging :).The reason im here is cuz i had checked out some bodys blog thing and wanted to post some comments on the content and before i knew it a lot of screens some info and lot of next buttons and tadddaa im here ,writing this down heheheheh three cherrs to technology which really makes you do things that u havent even thought of .But now that i have started maybe ill unclog my mind here .Its surprising how much clutter is in there .till next time ciaooooooo
